Psycho Studio Records is a fully equipped 24-bit digital & analog capable recording facility. We use Windows XP Media, ProTools, Vegas Pro Audio / Video, ACID Pro, Sound Forge Pro, Fruity Loops. This spells…. Unlimited tracks! We use a Gadget Labs 8/24 midi digital recording interface, as well as m-audio. At our disposal is larger than life sound library of loops & samples of every kind. Alesis Studio24 mixing boards in the control room & Behringer boards in the drum room for mixing as well as each program that we use and their amazing mixing & effecting abilities. Audio Centron, EV & Edirol monitors are our monitors of choice.
Outboard equipment? How about every old school pedal imaginable, Behringer V-amp pro amps & effects modelers. Yamaha SPX90’s, DigiTech Vocalist VR, Furman power conditioning & lighting, QSC amplification, Alesis, compression & EQ M-EQ230. Fender, Marshall, SWR and Gibson Amps. We can design and layout your CD artwork and cover as well, we have the best art production software available, Photoshop, MediaFace , Print Shop, and Paint Shop Pro.
How about Drums and Percussion? Tama, DW, Latin Percussion, Slingerland, Pearl, Zildgiian, Paiste, Sabian as well as others. We have a full size, 100 years old piano, Roland, Yamaha & Casio keyboards. SWR Bass Amplification 4X12 as well as Peavey Bass Amplification. Our guitars are Fender Strats & Tele’s Gibson & Epiphone Les Pauls, SG’s, Ibanez etc. as well as Martin 12 strings. Basses: Hofner, Fender P, Aria Pro Jazz, Ibanez & Rogue. ToneWorks , Akai and many others too many to mention. Marshall Vocal Microphones, Audio Technica, Shure SM57’s & SM58’s. AKG, Sennheisser, Nady and others. Room separation & full security system. We can hook you up with Drum, Guitar, Bass, Piano, Keyboard, Production, Engineering & software classes as well.
We are constantly updating our equipment arsenal & we have a full list of available session musicians and vocalists upon request. We believe in a low-key, relaxed atmosphere. Soft lighting. Lava lamps, and having fun while creating great sound, and getting the most out of the opportunity to make music to be proud of!
